I am hoping that I will still be able to keep up on my blogging, but if I don't, please know why. Yesterday I was put in as the new Primary President. I LOVE being in Primary, and I am SO lucky to have an amazing presidency to help me move into this role, but I am also a little overwhelmed. As I mentioned last month, our previous president passed away unexpectedly, and when she was gone I said to Greg, "I feel sorry for whoever has to take her place...she did such an amazing job." So, I suppose I can legitimately pity myself, but only momentarily because I am sincerely looking forward to being in Primary again.
Sarah has been very cute. Today she asked me when it would be Sunday again because she was SO excited for me to come to Primary with her, and the other girls have had similar excitement. Becca is most excited that she will know where to find me after church now, and Ellie gave me the "thumbs up" in Sacrament meeting.
I am very grateful for a supportive family, and know that without help I could never do this on my own.

Heather, you will be a great Primary President. With all your talents, you will probably find it to be easy and fun. Has your ward already done their Primary Sacrament Meeting Program? Or do you get to do that immediately after being put in?
Yikes! That's a big job. I guess it helps that you get to be in the best auxiliary in the church. You will be GREAT!
WOW! Big calling Heather, but you'll be great!!! I'm excited for all the kids in your primary (including your own!). Oh, and I love that your girls are excited, too!
Uh, congratulations!
Congratulations! And yes, that is an appropriate response because Primary President is the BEST calling! Honestly, it is my favorite calling I have had. You will be fantastic!

Heather, if ever a calling was more needed...if ever your talents and sensitivity were needed... truly they are here!

I'm a little belated on this, but you will do a fabulous job. However, I will miss reading the blog updates!
