Addendum

After Greg read the last post, he told me how funny it sounded that I had "accomplished" something like reading a 1500 page book when I felt like I couldn't get anything else done.

Let me just say that I have been reading said novel since before Christmas, a few pages at a time, and I didn't spend the last week ignoring my children to read it, I promise!

ha ha! that is funny! I didn't even think that! I am proud of you for finishing the book! I am just starting one (I still don't know how you read while you were breastfeeding)--Also, I think you need to post the "here it comes" story of Rachel when you were at greg's parent's house!!

I hae been reading The Princess Bride for almost a year now. I have read several other things in between but it seems like I only read that one a page or two at a time. Maybe one day I will finish it but I already know how it ends so I don't feel any sort of urgency.

Since this is essentially Greg's post, I'm reply to one of the links he put on the side about the Concorde, adding another thing nobody knows about it.

The headstock for Jackson guitars was modeled after the nose of the Concorde, which changes angle during flight. The first Jackson guitar, designed by Randy Rhoads, was called the Concorde. Here is the modern day version.

How funny. We never ignore our kids and read! What an accusation, Greg. Ha ha. I do sometimes. I admit it.
And good for you for finally finishng it! I also got very tired of Scarlet's tantrums but I loved the history within the story.
