A Christmas Poem

'Twas a few days before Christmas and all through the house
Someone was stirring-- as soft as a mouse.
I thought that the girls were all up in their rooms
Dusting their cobwebs and sweeping with brooms,
When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But a series of murals (to my eyes came a tear).
The crayon was stretched over dresser and wall;
It covered the toy chest; it decked the whole hall.
The upstairs was covered from chair rail to floor--
I even spied crayon on more than one door.

But who was this artist who colored in red?
I'll admit I was stumped until I saw the bed:

Heather, that is awesome! How funny! My kids do the same things, but it sounds like it's on a much smaller scale. Murals hm.... sounds like a big clean up job! PS remember the gift i was supposed to make for you? Yeah, I do to. I don't remember when I blogged that...but it's gonna happen soon. Don't ask when, but email me with your address! jawendel@gmail.com
